Family Run Business

Our dream as mother and daughter was to open our own laundry business.......

This became a reality when we launched our company in 2016. We live in Thaxted and pride ourselves on serving our fantastic local community and surrounding towns & villages. Since our launch we have continued to grow both in terms of our friendly team of ironing ladies and in reputation.

We have many regular customers who depend on us for their laundry needs whilst also supporting local bed and breakfasts and care homes. We are fully insured and offer laundry services including washing, drying, ironing, dry cleaning, alterations and adjustments.

Over the years, we have learned that great service begins and ends with experienced and friendly staff. Thaxted Laundry Room finishes each load on time and to the highest standard. With a focus on personalised service, competitive rates and customer satisfaction, we’re always striving to meet and exceed expectations.
